I know the author... he taught me in High School, and let me start off by saying this is not the book I picture him writing. My shock aside, and the fact that Murder Mystery is not a genre I generally enjoy, this book I did enjoy.It has all the classic elements of the Genre, and the Grammar and Spelling are quality work. There are a few formatting issues here and there, but we can chalk that up to adaptation of a publishing technology that's still in it's infancy compared traditional mediums.
I don't see it hitting the NY Times Best Seller list any day soon, but for the price I'd recommend her to anyone that enjoys tawdry mystery books, or fiction set in real locations. Also, if you're a fan of small town politics, she should be a good read.

I really liked Cold, Cold Blood - a police procedural - soap opera fusion. I find the situation amusing and the juxtaposition of genres delightful.
